The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution “Additional information on the modalities for holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries”

On April 11, 2025, at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York (USA), the Resolution “Additional information on the modalities of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries” was unanimously adopted. Accordingly, the General Assembly decided to hold an international conference from August 5 to 8 this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
This fact is further evidence of the recognition by the world community of the initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan and their historical significance in the international arena.
