Our students' successes

In the era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state in the Year of "International Peace and Trust", under the leadership of Our Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar, great works are being carried out to develop the sports sector, along with other sectors of our country, as well as to educate healthy and broad-minded youth. Construction and commissioning of multifunctional sports complexes in all regions of our country are a vivid evidence of fatherly care of our Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar for the Turkmen youth.

Wide opportunities have been created not only for holding international sports competitions inside the country, but also for participation of athletes engaged in various sports in competitions held abroad, which is another reflection of the fatherly care of our Esteemed President for the Turkmen youth. It was due to such care that the National Volleyball Federation of Turkmenistan held the 2024-2025 National Volleyball Championship among men's clubs "Higher League".

This championship, conducted in four rounds, was attended by eleven teams from all over the country:

"Nebitchi" from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, "Migration" from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, "Gala" from the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan, "Binagyar" from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, "Milli Goshun" from the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, "Galkynysh" from the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, "Talyp Sport" from the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, "Oguz-Khan" from the Oguzhan Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan, "Silk Road" from the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, "Serhetchi" from the State Border Guard Service of Turkmenistan and "Baherden" team from the Baherden region.

At the end of the tournament, the Nebitchi volleyball team of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University became the volleyball champion of Turkmenistan for the second year in a row after not losing a single match and scoring 59 points. The volleyball team "Gala" of the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan took the second place, and the volleyball team "Migration" of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan took the third place.

The Nebitchi volleyball team of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, which successfully participated in the tournament between the national volleyball teams of the National Volleyball Federation of Turkmenistan, won the right to represent our country at the international tournament "Champions League" of Asia in July 2025. This is the great honour and trust placed in the Nebitchi team, which consists of the students, studying at our higher educational institution.
