Turkmen-Polish co-operation strengthens in various directions

Consultations were held in Ashgabat on 3 October at the level of heads of structural divisions of the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Poland.

The Turkmen side was represented by the heads of the European Countries Division and the International Economic Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Polish delegation was headed by Deputy Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Marek Calka.

During the consultations, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They reaffirmed mutual focus on strengthening the Turkmen-Polish partnership. The sides had a thorough exchange of views on interaction within international structures.

The parties reaffirmed their mutual willingness to intensify bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas with a focus on expanding cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics spheres.
