The National Leader of the Turkmen People Paid a Friendly Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a two-day friendly visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

As is well known, the establishment of close and comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries consistently remains a top priority of the foreign policy doctrine of independent and neutral Turkmenistan, which is successfully pursuing a course of constructive international dialogue in the interest of all.

In recent years, the friendly and brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic have reached the level of long-term strategic partnership.

The similarity in approaches and positions of the two countries on pressing issues of international and regional politics serves as a favorable foundation for the intensification of interstate dialogue at various levels.

Thus, today Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic are actively advocating for the preservation and strengthening of stability and security in Central Asia, as well as for reinforcing the region’s long-standing traditions of mutual understanding, trust, and respect.
