Successes of student wrestlers of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

In the era of Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state, the development of mass physical education and sports, the Olympic movement has become a noble tradition. In our country, comprehensive work is being carried out to develop physical education and highly effective sports, train world-class masters of sports and ensure their successful performance in major sports competitions.

Inspired by the comprehensive opportunities created by our President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our youth participate in international competitions and win prizes.

The successes of Turkmen athletes in international competitions deserve special mention. They took leading places in the International Competitions among the CIS countries in Turkmen National Wrestling and Belt Wrestling, held in the beautiful capital of our country, Ashgabat from April 22 to 25, 2025.

It should be noted that students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University also made a great contribution to this victory.

2nd-year student of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Engineering Begli Khodzhammayev successfully performed in the 100 kg weight category in the national sport of wrestling, taking 2nd place, 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management Umyt Garagulov performed in the 60 kg weight category in belt wrestling, taking 3rd place, and 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Engineering Ainura Fayzullaeva performed in the 65 kg weight category in belt wrestling, taking 2nd place.

These achievements clearly demonstrate the successful implementation of the tasks set for sports in our country to reach new heights.
