The National Leader of the Turkmen people meets with Monaco advisor and discusses bilateral ties

The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Joël Bouzou, advisor to the Prince of Monaco and president of the "Peace and Sport" organization. The meeting, held in Ashgabat, focused on strengthening ties between the two nations.

Bouzou conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Prince Albert II and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, congratulating Berdimuhamedov on the National Turkmen Horse Holiday. Berdimuhamedov reciprocated the greetings, expressing his own best wishes to the Monégasque royals.

A key point of discussion was the recent success of Turkmenistan’s national equestrian group, "Galkynysh" at the 47th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo in January. Bouzou praised the high caliber of Turkmen circus artistry.

Both parties acknowledged the positive state of relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco, emphasizing a foundation of equality and mutual respect. They discussed the potential for expanded cooperation across various sectors, including political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Specifically, Bouzou expressed the "Peace and Sport" organization's commitment to developing sports-related collaborations with Turkmenistan.
