In the Era of Revival of a Powerful State, under the wise leadership of Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar, Turkmenistan's education system continues its dynamic development. All necessary conditions are being created for young people to receive education that meets international standards.
In this context, from April 26 to May 3, 2025, a delegation from the Turkmen Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics (TITI) paid a working visit to the University of Applied Sciences of Western Saxony (WHZ) in Zwickau, Germany.
WHZ is renowned for its engineering and technical programs, particularly in automotive manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and digital technologies. It closely collaborates with major companies such as Volkswagen Sachsen and offers students hands-on, industry-oriented education. The university also includes the Robert Schumann Conservatory, providing education in music and music pedagogy.
During the visit, the TITI delegation met with the university’s leadership. The parties introduced their institutions and discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation. The meeting concluded with a joint photo session.
At the special invitation of WHZ, a presentation was delivered on the topic “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust.” The presentation was given by Mr. Kakabay Hojanepesov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TITI, who spoke about the UN recognition of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the country’s commitment to a policy of peace and humanitarianism under the leadership of its national leader and President.
The delegation also toured the university’s modern research laboratories. The visit marked a significant step forward in strengthening international academic cooperation.
