International scientific conference “Principles of Peace and Trust in the Creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy” in Doha

On April 27-30, the Rector of Magtymguly Turkmen State University O.Owezsahedov and the Director of Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan D.Orazsahedov paid a working visit to the State of Qatar.

On April 28, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the State of Qatar and the university jointly organized the international scientific conference “Principles of Peace and Trust in the Creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy” dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, at Hamad Bin Khalifa University which is located within Education City.

The main goal of the international scientific conference was to demonstrate the successful implementation of the initiatives put forward by our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow in the international arena as a result of the implementation of the new philosophy in international relations called “Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace” proclaimed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and to reveal the inextricable link between the peace-loving views of Magtymguly Pyragy and the eras and generations. During the visit, ways of cooperation in the field of science and education were discussed between Magtymguly Turkmen State University and the University of Qatar.

Also, bilateral meetings were held between the delegation of our country and the heads of Hamad Bin Khalifa and Qatar universities and the National Library of Qatar. The meetings discussed the possibilities of cooperation in science and education, as well as joint study of ancient manuscripts. At the meeting of the Rector of Magtymguly Turkmen State University with the Rector of the Qatar University, mutual exchange of views took place on areas of cooperation between higher educational institutions of our country, including Magtymguly Turkmen State University.

The high organization of the international scientific conference “Principles of Peace and Trust in the Creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy” is a clear evidence of the international recognition of the creativity of the great poet and the doctrine of peace and trust promoted by our country.
