On October 16-17, 2024, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute hosted an international online competition titled "Agroinnovations: A Bright Path to Sustainable Development" for students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad. This competition featured over 100 scientific projects from 16 universities in independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan and a total of 50 projects from 26 foreign universities.
The results of the competition were summarized in three categories. In the agricultural projects category, five students from foreign and national universities were awarded first place, thirteen students received second place, and sixteen students earned third place. Notable winners included Stepan Sokolow from Tver State Agricultural Academy, Sabrina Savelyeva from Belarusian State Agricultural Technical University, Bahar Berdieva from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, Bagtyyar Atahanov from the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, and Nikita Gromov from Chuvash State Agricultural University.
In the business projects category, Elena Abzalilova from Bashkortostan State Agricultural University and Bagi Djalilov from Ural State University of Economics secured first place.
For IT projects, Ashyrgeldi Ataev from Tokai University in Japan and Ozodbek Hematullaev from Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, and Biotechnology distinguished themselves and were awarded first place.

Such competitions are of great importance for the scientific development of the country’s agriculture, strengthening educational cooperation among nations, and fostering friendship among peoples.
