The official visit of Hero-Arkadag to the French Republic has begun

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has departed today on an official visit to the French Republic.
At Ashgabat International Airport, Hero-Arkadag was seen off by high-ranking officials.
Turkmen-French cooperation is successfully developing in the political and diplomatic spheres, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Regular political consultations between the foreign ministries contribute to the deepening of dialogue.
Upon arrival at Paris Orly Airport, which was decorated with the national flags of both countries, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was greeted by an honor guard and French officials. During a conversation with a representative of the French side, the high appreciation of France for multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan was emphasized, and wishes for a successful visit were expressed.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in turn, noted the long-standing fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and France in various fields and expressed confidence that this visit would give a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations, opening a new chapter in the history of interstate partnership.
