Balkanabat, May 7, 2025 — A solemn commemorative event titled “Heroes Are Not Forgotten” was held at the Balkanabat Branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The event brought together university faculty, esteemed mentors, and students to pay tribute to the heroism and sacrifice of those who secured peace for future generations.
The ceremony featured powerful speeches highlighting the nationwide celebrations being held across Turkmenistan under the leadership and guidance of the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
It was emphasized that, in accordance with his directives, war veterans and the families of fallen heroes are receiving commemorative gifts, underscoring the nation's deep gratitude and respect for their service and sacrifice.
