Today, Turkmenistan is celebrating a major nationwide holiday — the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at the monuments of the "Halk Hakydasy" Memorial Complex.
