The President of Turkmenistan Participates in Celebrations in Moscow Marking the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory

On May 9, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the Russian Federation, where, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he participated in the ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, held in Moscow.
Victory Day holds a significant place in the national calendar. From the very beginning of that brutal war, our compatriots voluntarily went to the front and fought courageously side by side with fraternal nations in the name of peace on Earth and a happy life for future generations. A tremendous contribution to the common Victory was also made by all those who, during the hardships of war, tirelessly worked on the home front.
On this day – May 9 – in all cities and villages of the Motherland, the bright memory of heroes who fell bravely in battles against fascism is honored.
