Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Reviews Construction Progress in the Capital

On May 9, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit across Ashgabat to inspect several major construction sites.

He first visited the site of the new Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, emphasizing the importance of blending national architectural traditions with modern design.

Next, Hero Arkadag reviewed the project for the “Güneşli” Children and Youth Center, which will house a modern children’s library named after Bazar Amanov. He stressed that the library should become a hub of knowledge and innovation for the younger generation.

The visit also included inspection of the Neutrality Monument area in southern Ashgabat, where two museums are planned. Named “Baky ýoluň” and “Bitaraplygy”, the museums will reflect Turkmenistan’s history of neutrality and the spirit of relevant UN resolutions.

The day concluded with a visit to the Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Complex, where restoration works are underway. Arkadag emphasized using special Karakum sand for the race tracks and gave specific instructions regarding construction quality and timelines.

Throughout the tour, he issued key directives to ensure timely and high-quality execution of all projects.
