The President of Turkmenistan Reviewed the Situation in the Agricultural Sector and Regions of the Country

On May 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev and the hyakims of the velayats, during which the situation in the agricultural sector and the regions of the country was reviewed.
As reported, wheat maintenance is currently ongoing in the fields of the regions, along with preparations for harvesting seed grain for subsequent proper storage. At the same time, inter-row cultivation, thinning, and weeding are being carried out on cotton-planted areas with the effective use of specialized machinery.
Moreover, the regions have begun the organized delivery of cocoons to collection points, obtained during the procurement season. Preparations for the upcoming festive events dedicated to the Constitution Day and the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan were also reported.
