On May 14, the capital hosted an international meeting attended by leaders and representatives of Turkmenistan’s fuel and energy sector, as well as specialists from the oil and gas industry and relevant sectoral departments of the United Arab Emirates and the Malaysian company Petronas. The participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, further enhanced the significance of the event.
During the meeting, it was noted that Turkmenistan is consistently developing international cooperation in the oil and gas sector. In this regard, great importance is attached to establishing relations with major companies and business structures worldwide, based on trust, mutual respect, and mutual benefit. This is essential for the development of industries and the implementation of advanced modern practices in their production segments.
As highlighted, in recent years, advanced technologies, innovative methods, and leading international expertise have been actively integrated into the structures of the country’s fuel and energy complex. In this context, the development of international relations and the exchange of experience is of great importance. This creates favorable conditions for the effective operation of relevant structures and the efficient adoption of modern digital technologies.
The meeting, which was held in a businesslike atmosphere, focused on the vast opportunities for further intensifying cooperation.
Following the international meeting, Agreements were signed between the State Concern "Türkmennebit", Petronas Çarigali (Türkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), and ADNOC Türkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE), as well as between the State Concern "Türkmengaz", Petronas Çarigali (Türkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), and ADNOC Türkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE).
