Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Meets with Representatives of Petronas

On May 14, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with representatives of Petronas, including Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik, the Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Jukris Abdul Wahab, Executive Vice President, and Mohd Redhani Abdul Rahman, Vice President for International Upstream Assets.
During the meeting, the efficiency of Petronas — a time-tested and reliable partner of Turkmenistan — in the country’s oil and gas sector was highlighted. In this context, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the consistent expansion of cooperation with Petronas not only covers ongoing projects but also includes major projects in the industrial sector, which represents a new area of cooperation within the framework of Turkmenistan's socio-economic development programs.
