A Conference Dedicated to the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag of Turkmenistan Held in Ashgabat

On May 15, the scientific-practical conference titled "The Constitution of Turkmenistan - the Legal Guarantee of Our Country’s Permanent Neutrality, the State Flag - the Symbol of International Peace" was held at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, political parties, and public associations of the country.

The conference was attended by deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the Halk Maslahaty of the city of Ashgabat, representatives of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, public associations, various sectors of the national economy, mass media, scientists, teachers, and youth.

During the opening ceremony of the scientific-practical conference "The Constitution of Turkmenistan - the Legal Guarantee of Our Country’s Permanent Neutrality, the State Flag - the Symbol of International Peace", speakers particularly emphasized the consistent improvement of national legislation on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and through the efforts of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. They highlighted the recognition of the human being as the highest value of society and the state, in line with the noble principles of Turkmen ancestors who revered justice, equality, human rights, and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution, as well as the vast opportunities for the formation of civil society.
