Preparation of textbooks and teaching aids in the secondary vocational educational institutions

The main task and condition of quality education is the provision of educational literature. This requires from education specialists a strict and systematic approach to the preparation of textbooks and teaching aids at each stage of the educational process.

In accordance with this, guided by the work plan for 2025, approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, on May 16, the next meeting of the educational and methodological Council was held in secondary vocational schools of the cities of Arkadag, Ashgabat, Ahal velayat, and created on a voluntary basis in 2024.

At the meeting was introduced a presentation the document: the order № 98 the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan dated 20 March 2024 approves «Regulation on the priority order in the publication of textbooks and teaching aids».

Discussing on this issue, the Director of the Ashgabat Seсondary Medical School named after I. Gandhi presented in deail the contents of this document, whiсh sets out the basic requirements for educational publications. In addition, published, finished and forthcoming educational books were demonstrated, as well as examples of writing reviews and extracts from minutes of meetings of the relevant educational institution.

In conclusion, attention was focused on the need for strict control over the implementation of requirements for the quality of the content of books and teaching aids, a systematic approach and reporting in the preparation of textbooks planned for publication.
