Field trip was organized

Guided by their faculty, third-year Computer Linguistics students from the Faculty of Innovation Economics at the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan undertook a practical field trip at the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. Local experts introduced the students to the resources and work of the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts during the field trip. Their visit began with the book exhibition on the first floor of the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts. Following this, the students and their teachers learned about the ancient book collection housed on the second floor. Here, they were introduced to the laboratory where ancient and historically valuable books are repaired. Experts working in the department explained in detail to the students the book restoration process and how the books are presented to the public in their renewed form. Experts from the Institute of Manuscripts detailed how the enduring works of prominent Turkmen poets and writers have been preserved to this day. Specifically, by showing the students original handwritten books by Magtymguly and Dovletmammet Azady, they illustrated how this valuable heritage is maintained and serves as an inspiration for youth. Teacher Ogulnabat from the Institute of Manuscripts led a general lesson for the computer linguistics students on a topic relevant to their field. The teacher clearly explained their research work, the process of translating language into computer code, and how to use relevant software. The teacher encouraged the students to pursue the necessary knowledge in this emerging field with keen interest. The field trip was a valuable experience that effectively enhanced the students' learning and provided them with deeper insights into their chosen field.
