London, May 20, 2025 — The delegation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan participated in a key session of the Education World Forum 2025, dedicated to the timely theme: “Artificial Intelligence: Challenges and Opportunities for Teaching and Learning.”

The forum’s analytical session, held in a roundtable format, provided participants with an opportunity to discuss the prospects of applying artificial intelligence in the field of education.

Among the participants were ministers and deputy ministers of education from Finland, Armenia, Estonia, Senegal, Tanzania, Mauritius, and Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Google and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The session was moderated by international digital education expert Mike Trucano from the AI in Education Observatory.

In his address, Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the ethical implementation of AI in educational environments. He highlighted the need for creating personalized learning pathways, protecting students from information overload, and ensuring equal access to digital opportunities.

The session participants discussed a broad range of issues, including:
