The final competition of innovative startup projects of youth held within the framework of the joint program “Startup Ecosystem – 2024–2025” organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and “Union of Economists of Turkmenistan” of the National Public Association

During the Revival Epoch of the New Era of the Powerful State, thanks to the great initiatives of our Hero-Arkadag and as the result of the successful implementation of state policies under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, great opportunities are being provided in our country for the creative thinking of the younger generation and for the widespread implementation of innovative projects. Due to the consistent care of our Esteemed President for the youth, international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and technology is paving the way for new developments.

In this context, on May 15, 2025, the final competition of youth innovative startup projects was held at Turkmen-Indian Center for Information Technologies. The competition was organized with the aim of developing young people’s creative thinking abilities and encouraging the implementation of projects based on modern technologies.

The competition was held in collaboration with the following partner organizations:

• “Union of Economists of Turkmenistan” PA

• “Achievements of Turkmen Youth” PA

• “Maslahatly Chozgut” Economic Society

• “Export Consulting” Economic Society

During the competition, the innovative projects prepared by the youth covered various fields, and their activeness, depth of thought, and harmony with modern technologies were particularly noted. Additionally, the economic significance of the projects, their social benefits, technical foundation, and future development prospects were also analyzed.

More than 40 project works in various fields were submitted to the competition from higher and secondary vocational educational schools of our country.

As a result, based on the decision of the panel of judges, several young participants distinguished by their creative approaches were announced as winners, with the following 8 projects selected as the best in their specified categories.

1st Place: Maryam Isayevna Jelalova (individual) – 2nd-year student of Finance and Economics Vocational School of Mary velayat. Project: “Tapnote” – an innovative method for promoting companies.

2nd Place: Gojuk Chary ogly Gurbanov, clinical resident (2nd year), Department of Postgraduate Surgery, Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan; Gadam Akmuhammedovich Soyegov, 6th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan (team project). Project: “Kesgitle” – an online software solution for career identification and educational enhancement.

3rd Place: Jeyhun Serdarovich Jumashov and Baynazar Muhammedovich Muhammedov (team project) – 3rd-year students at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. Project: “Hazyna Stock” – a digital media platform.

I. Special Category – “Social Entrepreneurship”:

Kabegul Amanmyradovna Ilmyradova and Aylar Nurnazarovna Gayypova (team project) – 1st-year students of Ashgabat Construction Vocational School. Project: “Gunça gülleri” – a line of beautiful and long-lasting flowers made from ribbons, offering accessible and eco-friendly options for home and holiday decorations.

II. Special Category – “Women’s Entrepreneurship”

Ayna Akmyradovna Yollyyeva (individual) – 4th-year student of Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. Project: An innovative method for generating electricity from saline water.

III. Special Category – “Digital Innovations”

Muhammet Saparmyradovich Yakubov, teacher of physics at Secondary School No. 6 in Tagtabazar etrap of Mary velayat; Rustam Kakamyradovich Habybov, 5th-year student of State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (team project). Project: The use of Li-Fi technology.

IV. Special Category – “Green Economy”

Ogulnabat Halykovna Saryyeva, a lecturer of Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction; Kakajan Merdanovich Kakayev, 2nd-year student of Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction (team project). Project: “Agro Chemistry” – determining the potential and technological basis for raw material processing, and evaluating the productivity and usefulness of the resulting technology.

V. Category: “Best Mentor–Apprentice Pair”

Merdan Ramazanovich Rustamov (individual) – a lecturer of Magtymguly Turkmen State University. Project: “Turkmen Mentality” – a specially developed training program for tourists, implemented through an online website.

The winners were awarded encouragement prizes prepared by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, and  Turkmen-Indian Center for Information Technologies.

Thanks to the great initiatives of our Hero-Arkadag and the tireless efforts of our Arkadagly Serdar, great opportunities are being created in our country to help the youth for realizing their talents and implementing innovative initiatives based on new technologies and digital solutions. The participants of the project competition expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the great opportunities being created for the younger generation, who present the bright future of our country.
