In this year, proclaimed the "Year of International Peace and Trust," each day, as our nation celebrates numerous festivities, our hearts swell with pride for the peace, tranquility, and unity of our cherished Motherland.
Educators, through their tireless efforts to instill in the younger generation a profound love for their beloved Homeland and to nurture them into well-mannered, educated, and knowledgeable individuals, also play a vital role in upholding these noble traditions.
During the recent holidays, the library of Secondary School No. 83, specializing in the advanced study of English and located in Ashgabat, hosted a significant literary event entitled "Makhtumkuli – Thinker of the World." To mark this occasion, an exhibition showcasing the works of our esteemed Makhtumkuli, along with books detailing his life and legacy, and relevant articles from periodicals, was organized in the library and school lobby, drawing considerable interest from readers.
At the opening ceremony, the school principal, A. Orazberdieva, and the Deputy Principal for Academic Affairs, T. Furthermore, the high school students, by sharing captivating anecdotes about the world-renowned sage and reciting his verses, reaffirmed the deep respect for our great intellectual poet among all attendees.
As part of the event, students from the school, under the guidance of librarian M. Bayrammamedova, who aimed to introduce readers to the realm of Makhtumkuli's creativity, visited the Makhtumkuli monument within the memorial complex near the Independence Monument. There, the school librarian recited excerpts from "Makhtumkuli – the Thinker of the World," a work by our esteemed President Hero Arkadagly Serdar. Drawing upon the valuable insights contained within "The Pearl of History" by our National Leader, Hero Arkadag, the students expressed their profound admiration for the greatness of Makhtumkuli Fragi, who left an indelible mark on the history of the Turkmen people, through recitations of his poems and related legends.Textbook Preparation and Publishing
