BOOKS ARE THE ETERNAL GUIDES OF HUMANKIND

In the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, in accordance with the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, as well as Respected President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Serdar, in order to develop a culture of reading among the younger generation, school libraries carry out systematic work to study, preserve and popularize the national cultural heritage. The main purpose of these events is to foster students' respect for books, develop a love of reading and stimulate their cognitive activity.

The decision to build a new building of the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library as part of the Guneshli Children's and Youth Center, located in a picturesque part of the capital, is a positive signal indicating the expansion of prospects for further cooperation between the State Children's Library and the network of school libraries. This initiative, implemented thanks to the strategic vision of Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar, opens up new opportunities for strengthening cooperation in the field of library services for children and youth.  

In accordance with tradition, school libraries, in partnership with the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library of Turkmenistan, organize a variety of events aimed at popularizing literature and stimulating reader interest. During May of this year, a number of educational institutions implemented a set of events, including a literary and musical matinee "Children's Favorite Poet" at Bagtyýar nesiller secondary school No. 74, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the national writer of  Turkmenistan Kayum Tanrygulyev, as well as a conversation "The National Flag is a symbol of sovereignty", dedicated to the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag of Turkmenistan. A solemn event "In honor of the Great Victory" was held at secondary school         No. 51, a conversation "High honor of national heroes" was held at secondary school No. 132, and a conversation "Carpet is the soul of a Turkmen" was organized at secondary school No. 2 with in–depth English language studies (Arkadag city). A literary and musical morning "Gün-günden gözelleşýär, ak şäherim Aşgabat" was held in other educational institutions. An important component of the events were thematic book exhibitions, which helped to attract students' attention to literature, stimulate interest in reading and increase motivation for cognitive activity.  

Library staff make consistent efforts in the implementation of state policy aimed at the formation of a literate, educated, erudite and culturally developed young generation with a strong interest in reading and literary creativity.
