President of Turkmenistan Held a Working Meeting with the Participation of Khyakims of the Velayats

On May 26, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and the khyakims of the velayats, at which issues related to the country's agricultural sector and ongoing work in the regions were discussed.

As was noted, all necessary measures have been taken in the velayats for the organized commencement of the grain harvest and for harvesting the grown crops without loss.

In the cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers, and irrigation are being carried out, with agricultural machinery operating at full capacity. To further strengthen the country's food security, efforts are being made to care for potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops in accordance with agrotechnical standards, and to harvest the grown crops.

Furthermore, reports were made on preparations for holding cultural, public, and sports events in the regions, dedicated to International Children's Day and World Bicycle Day, as well as for the children's summer holiday season.
