Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan held a seminar at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

On May 27, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al Hameli held a seminar for teachers and students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University on the topic "Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates: cooperation in the field of introducing artificial intelligence in the oil and gas sector". The seminar was held in the conference hall of the Information Technology Center of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, and was attended by the rector of the university, teachers and students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity, as well as employees of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. In his speech, Ahmed Al Hameli detailed how in his country, in the scientific and educational sphere, AI and related concepts are taught from an early age, starting from secondary school, and that AI and related technologies are being implemented at a high pace in the oil, gas and energy sectors with the participation of world-renowned companies and local digital technology enterprises, and that these efforts have begun to yield high results. He discussed AI solutions for each industry and highlighted the opportunities they will create in the future. In conclusion, he thanked everyone present and expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries, including the ongoing work to develop AI technologies, will continue to grow stronger.

The Ambassador presented the famous higher education institutions of the United Arab Emirates and expressed his readiness to provide support in establishing cooperation in the field of science and education. After the speech of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, the teachers and students of the university asked questions of interest to them about the seminar, to which Mr. Ahmed Al Hameli gave explanatory answers. At the end of the seminar, the Rector of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University expressed gratitude to the distinguished guest for visiting our university and delivering a speech.
