Turkmen Commodity Exchange Records Over $1.3M in Exports, Strong Domestic Sales

Last week, the total value of export transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 1 million 367 thousand US dollars. In total, 23 deals were concluded with participation from both foreign and local entrepreneurs, according to TDH.
The main buyers of Turkmen goods were business representatives from the UAE, Afghanistan, and Turkey. Liquefied gas produced by the “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern was purchased by buyers from the UAE and Afghanistan, while Turkish companies acquired refined cotton waste.
The domestic market also showed high activity. Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased road bitumen, polypropylene, and base oil produced by the “Türkmennebit” State Concern, along with Portland cement, cotton yarn and fabric, and textile waste. The total value of domestic transactions exceeded 88 million 437 thousand manats.
