Meeting with the Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On June 3, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Hu Heping.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of effectively developing bilateral partnership of a comprehensive strategic nature. At the same time, the decisive role of high-level contacts in enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries was especially noted.
The parties discussed strengthening inter-parliamentary and inter-party ties, as well as developing interregional cooperation, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in the Central Asia-China format.
The successful cooperation between Turkmenistan and China within the framework of international and regional structures, primarily within the UN, was noted.
The interlocutors noted the important role of trade and economic cooperation in strengthening friendly dialogue. Issues of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian spheres were also discussed, in particular, in the areas of education, science, culture, media and youth initiatives.
