A student from a linguistic university will represent Turkmenistan in the final round of "Quiz on Korea"

On Saturday, a "Quiz on Korea" was held in Ashgabat, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan. In the preliminary round held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan was represented by 50 students from the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi and the King Sejong Institute Ashgabat.

The participants demonstrated their extensive knowledge of Korea by answering challenging questions. The event became a truly captivating competition, full of unexpected twists, which made it particularly interesting for the audience. Following the results of the quiz, the first place and the opportunity to represent Turkmenistan in the final round of "Quiz on Korea" in September 2025 was awarded to Ashyrova Aylar, a student of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi.

The students who took second and third places were also recognized and encouraged with prizes from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan.

"Quiz on Korea" is a popular television game show of the Republic of Korea, which is held as part of the annual international public diplomacy program by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS).

The aim of the quiz is to assess the general knowledge of participants about Korea. The final round of "Quiz on Korea" traditionally takes place in the Republic of Korea, where each participant represents their country.
