A seminar on “Digitalization, IT and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” was held at Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University by Dr. Melda Yildiz, a specialist in the Fulbright exchange program in the USA

On June 17, 2025, Dr. Melda Yildiz, a specialist in the Fulbright exchange program in the USA, held a training seminar on “Digitalization, IT and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” for the faculty and students of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. The training was held in the conference hall of the Information Technology Center of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, and was attended by faculty and students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity. In her speech, Melda Yıldız spoke in detail about how in her country, artificial intelligence and related concepts are taught from an early age, starting from high school, in the scientific and educational sector, and that artificial intelligence and related technologies are being introduced at a high pace in the oil, gas and energy sectors with the participation of world-famous companies and local digital technology enterprises, and that these efforts have begun to yield high results.

After Melda Yıldız's speech, the university faculty and students asked questions that aroused interest in the course, and Melda Yıldız gave explanatory answers to all of them. At the end of the seminar, the faculty and students of Yagsıgeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University expressed their gratitude to the distinguished guest for visiting our university.
