“LAST BELL” CELEBRATION HELD AT THE YAGSHYGELDI KAKAYEV INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS UNIVERSITY

A festive “Last Bell” celebration took place in the Assembly Hall of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University for the graduates of the 2024–2025 academic year. This joyful event, marked by the ringing of the last school bell, became an unforgettable moment in the lives of thousands of young people.

The farewell of graduates to their alma mater was filled with emotional and joyful moments, symbolizing their first steps into independent life—one inspired by great hope and a path open to new accomplishments. Over the years of study, the students received a comprehensive education, which has become a solid foundation for their further development in various fields.

Thanks to the social policy of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which places special emphasis on the health, upbringing, education, and intellectual potential of the younger generation, all conditions are being created in the country for young people to receive quality education both in Turkmenistan and abroad.

At present, a strong national education system has been established in Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan. Innovative teaching methods are actively being introduced, academic programs are regularly updated, and textbooks and teaching aids are being enriched in content. Special attention is paid to ensuring that young professionals in various sectors possess a well-rounded education and are proficient in modern technologies. In this regard, the material and technical base of the national education system is being systematically strengthened. All conditions have been created for implementing educational plans and joint projects with leading scientific and educational centers in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

As the Honored Hero Arkadag emphasized, youth are the generation that is building the great future of our Motherland. Great hopes are placed on young people in achieving the high goals aimed at the happiness of the nation and of all humanity. Therefore, they must step boldly and enthusiastically into the next stages of life—studying, creating, and moving forward for the sake of the interests of the Homeland and the people.

Graduates were congratulated by their parents, teachers, and event guests, who expressed their best wishes. In return, the graduates expressed heartfelt gratitude to their mentors for the knowledge and guidance they had received.

Students who excelled in various academic olympiads, sports competitions, creative and artistic contests, as well as those graduating with honors, were awarded certificates of merit and commemorative gifts by the university rector.

Participants of the celebration expressed their deep appreciation to the Head of State and Hero Arkadag for their immense efforts in developing the education system and for creating the conditions necessary for learning, working, and nurturing talented, highly educated, and innovative-minded youth.
