Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

On June 17, 2025, a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. At the meeting, Ambassador Hiroshi Sasaki solemnly presented the university leadership with dozens of introductory books written in English by the Nippon Foundation on Japanese economy, culture and literature. These books, containing interesting facts about Japan, are exhibited in the university library and reading room. The rector of the university expressed gratitude to the Esteemed Ambassador for the donated books, noting that students would read these books with interest. During the meeting, Ambassador Hiroshi Sasaki familiarized himself with the library and reading rooms of the university. The Ambassador then visited the Geology Museum and the DRILL SIM-5000 drilling training laboratory located at the Faculty of Oil and Gas. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit the university.
