A meeting was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development with the participation of a delegation led by Vice President of Kent State University, Marcello Fantoni. During the meeting, the guest was provided with detailed information about the history, structure, international cooperation and scientific work of the university.
In turn, the Vice President of Kent State University expressed his best wishes and gratitude for the warm welcome at the university. He emphasized that the establishment and development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries is one of the priorities of his work. The Vice President of Kent State University expressed his readiness to further develop cooperation with the International University for the Humanities and Development in the relevant areas and noted that the necessary measures will be taken in this direction.
As is known, last year Kent State University signed a memorandum of understanding with the International University for the Humanities and Development. The memorandum provides for the implementation of joint research projects, educational programs, student exchanges and other areas of cooperation.
After the official part, a tour of the university was organized for the honored guests, in particular to the UNESCO Club “Peace and Trust – the Basis of Humanism and Development, as well as to the student center “IUHD HUB”.
This meeting became a clear example of effective international partnership and the expansion of inter-university cooperation on a global educational platform.
