On June 20, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers using the digital system, at which a number of issues of state life were considered.

The first speaker, the Chairperson of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, informed about the activities of the national Parliament.

As reported, currently, taking into account the principles of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, adopted state programs, as well as proposals from ministries and industry departments, draft laws are being developed related to improving the legislative framework of civil-legal relations, creating a unified state register of voters and determining the legal and organizational foundations for its maintenance, strengthening the legal foundations of public relations arising from the creation and use of scientific intellectual property, as well as the formation of a legal environment in the field of using virtual assets, updating current customs regulations and the activities of the customs service.

At the same time, credentials were received from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Turkmenistan. In addition, the representative of the Mejlis visited Warsaw (Republic of Poland) on a business trip to participate in a meeting to discuss cooperation with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.

Summarizing the information presented, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of consistently continuing work to improve the country's legislative and legal framework.
