Magtymguly Pyragy - the master of educating generations

On June 23, 2025, the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan held a scientific and practical conference "Magtymguly Pyragy - the master of educating generations" among teachers and students, dedicated to the day of culture and poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy. The first part of the conference, entitled "Culture is the soul of the people", talked about the national achievements of our country, which pays great attention to the development of its culture and cultural heritage. Speakers at the conference talked about new achievements in the world. At the conference, teachers and students spoke on scientific topics such as "Creative features of the sculpture of Magtymguly Pyragy", "National features in the art of architecture", "The beauty of nature in the work of Magtymguly Pyragy". Several scientific reports were made. In the second part, entitled “During the revival of the new era of the sovereign state – the beautiful era of the desire of Pyragy”, it was noted that the lines of the Turkmen master of words have become proverbs throughout the country. In the poet’s work, a special place is also occupied by verses-instructions, which play a significant role in the education of good qualities in people. In this regard, speakers at the conference especially noted such poems of Magtymguly Pyragy as “Janyna degmez”, “Durasyn geler”, “Yor bilyani”, “Il yagshy”, “Zor bolar”, “Ayrylma”, which were born from the poet’s precious wisdom.

In the third section, entitled “Our national art is our national pride”, the reports on the topics “Fine art of the Jeitun culture”, “The beauty of women's literature in the poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy” and “Portraits of great personalities in the fine arts” were impressive. In the fourth section, entitled “Folk Art – Wealth of Society,” the speeches emphasized the role of celebrations dedicated to the Day of Culture and Art and Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy in the development of our national culture, its dissemination in the world, further development of humanitarian cooperation in the world, strengthening friendship and brotherhood, bringing cooperation between states and peoples to a new, higher level, expanding cooperation in the study of the work of Magtymguly Pyragy and his rich legacy to humanity.
