In his remarkable book “The Eternal Light of the Human Heart,” the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, states: “The poetry of the great Pyragy is a unique expression of the Turkmen people’s views on their glorious era, their centuries-old dreams of building an independent, prosperous state, justice, a happy life, unity, and peace.” The great poet Magtymguly Pyragy is a shining star of world literature. He is an outstanding philosopher and classical poet of the East.
On the occasion of Magtymguly Pyragy Poetry Day, a creative event titled “Everywhere and Always — It Is the Same Magtymguly...” was recently held at the Magtymguly Pyragy Museum located in our district. The event was organized by the school libraries of Magtymguly district of Balkan province, with the participation of teachers and students engaged in creative activities. From the very beginning, the event carried deep meaning and significance. During the celebration, teachers working in various schools of our district and students shared their own poems with the audience. Every line of their poetry reflected their profound love for our Independent, Permanently Neutral Homeland — Turkmenistan, their boundless gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as their sincere respect for Magtymguly Pyragy, who is considered the spiritual mentor for every person stepping onto the creative path. During the event, students passionate about music skillfully performed several songs based on the words of Magtymguly Pyragy using the Turkmen national musical instrument, the dutar. Teachers and students who actively participated in the creative event were presented with commemorative gifts by the Magtymguly district council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly in Balkan province. At the conclusion of the event, the participants expressed their deepest gratitude to Hero Arkadag and our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for the broad opportunities being created for the people.
