Invitation from the President of Turkmenistan addressed to the President of Bangladesh was conveyed to the Ambassador of Bangladesh in Islamabad

On June 24, 2025, a meeting was held at the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Islamabad between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov and the Ambassador of Bangladesh Iqbal Husain Khan.
During the meeting, the Turkmen side conveyed an official invitation on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed to the President of Bangladesh Mohammad Shahabuddin to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone of Turkmenistan in August this year.
The Ambassador Iqbal Husain Khan accepted the invitation with gratitude, confirming his country's readiness for further cooperation with Turkmenistan on a wide range of issues, including in the area of sustainable development and regional integration.
The meeting confirmed the mutual interest of the parties in strengthening constructive dialogue and developing partnership relations.
