Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Concludes His Diplomatic Mission in Turkmenistan

Ashgabat, June 26, 2025 — On the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Rashid Meredov, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Qian Naicheng.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the current level and prospects for the further development of Turkmen-Chinese bilateral relations. Special attention was given to the enhancement of cooperation in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. The parties also acknowledged the effective collaboration between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China within the framework of international organizations, particularly the United Nations.
Minister Meredov expressed his sincere appreciation to Ambassador Qian Naicheng for his personal contribution to strengthening bilateral ties and conveyed his best wishes for continued success in his future professional endeavors.
In turn, Ambassador Qian expressed his deep gratitude to the Government of Turkmenistan for its comprehensive support and cooperation throughout the duration of his diplomatic mission.
