On June 29, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warmly congratulated Hero-Arkadag on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being, and continued success in his responsible state activities. Noting the significant contribution of Hero-Arkadag to the consistent strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, the head of Turkey took the opportunity to send warm greetings to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulations and kind wishes, Hero-Arkadag noted that the Republic of Turkey is one of Turkmenistan’s close and fraternal states. In this regard, it was acknowledged that interstate relations, based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood, are being enriched with new content.
During the telephone conversation, the interlocutors highlighted the long-term and strategic nature of the dialogue between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, which is fostered by the commonality of language, culture, and spiritual values of both peoples.
A significant contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation is made by regular visits of government delegations, as well as consultations and negotiations at the level of ministries and agencies of the two countries.
Furthermore, Hero-Arkadag thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his personal contribution to the consistent development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey.
At the conclusion of the telephone conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, exchanged wishes for good health and success in their responsible state activities, as well as prosperity and well-being for the fraternal peoples of both countries.
