Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Burkina Faso Discuss Bilateral Cooperation by Phone

On July 1, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation, and Burkinabè Abroad of Burkina Faso, Mr. Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré.
The parties discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Burkina Faso. The potential for strengthening cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres was noted. Cooperation within multilateral frameworks, particularly the UN and OIC, was also discussed.
Special attention was given by the foreign ministers to preparations for the Third Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries, scheduled to be held in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza" in August of this year.
