As a result of the great reforms being implemented under the wise leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our country is experiencing great developments. The lofty goals of the glorious era are being realized through the reliance on science and education. The basis for training qualified specialists, achieving high results in this field, and achieving the set goals is the professional quality of teachers. Accordingly, improving the professional level of teachers in order to train qualified specialists in the science and education spheres is one of the priority tasks.

Within the framework of the “Accelerated Teaching of English in Central Asia” (AELLCA) project, implemented with the support of the British Council and Nottingham Trent University (Great Britain), 14 teachers of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages ​​​​had advanced online training in modern methods of teaching English from January to March 2025. The training was conducted under the supervision of specialists from the British university, Stephen Sharpe and Dr. Sam Barkley. Upon completion of the training, the participants were awarded official Cambridge certificates for successfully passing the international test on the teaching methodology of the Cambridge Testing Center TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test).

TKT is a set of modular teaching certificates that test knowledge in specific areas of English language teaching. TKT is considered a globally recognized qualification.
