Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan familiarized himself with preparations for the international forum in Awaza

On July 8, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a working visit to the Balkan region to review preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, scheduled for August, and the implementation of related projects.
At the multifunctional “Awaza” sports complex, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov provided information on design projects developed in accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, as well as on organizational measures being taken in preparation for the upcoming international event.
Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of ensuring proper measures throughout the entire complex, particularly in terms of fire safety. He noted the need to focus on every aspect of preparation, including proper equipment for the administrative center, in order to ensure the successful holding of the conference at a high level.
Speaking on the need to follow the established action plan during the organizational phase of the forum, Hero-Arkadag highlighted the importance of coordinating the efforts of all involved structures.
Additionally, he stressed the necessity of providing proper informational support in multiple world languages. It is also important to carefully study the preferences of the delegates and ensure the presentation of video materials highlighting Turkmenistan's long-standing cooperation with the UN.
Hero-Arkadag then familiarized himself with the design projects illustrating the layout and equipment of specific areas of the complex during the conference at the Awaza National Tourist Zone. Information was also provided about structural units of the complex, individual facilities, and the preparation of meeting and discussion rooms within the framework of the international event.
After reviewing the projects, Turkmenistan’s Honored Architect Hero-Arkadag expressed several remarks.
