Students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, under the guidance of a teacher, undergo an internship at the China University of Petroleum.

Thanks to the wise domestic and foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, Esteemed Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the modern reforms he is implementing, projects of national and international significance, new humanitarian approaches aimed at the long-term prospect of international cooperation, the honor and dignity of our Motherland, our courageous people are valued more and more in the world.

The oil and gas industry, one of the main sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, has reached a developed level on the basis of international cooperation. In the country, products that meet international standards are manufactured on the basis of low-waste, energy-saving technologies introduced in existing production facilities.

The presence of various types and reserves of minerals in the country gives a powerful impetus to the development of the chemical, gas, oil and other industries. As a result, our country is confidently building fuel and energy and industrial production complexes, and successfully implementing large-scale programs.

In 2023, Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation were signed between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, the China National Petroleum Corporation and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing).

Within the framework of the signed Memorandums, in order to train highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, familiarize themselves with the experience of the China National Petroleum Corporation, and study the experience of similar higher education institutions, this year, as in previous years, from June 29 to July 20, a group of students will undergo educational and industrial practice at the China University of Petroleum in Beijing under the guidance of a university professor.

The China University of Petroleum has prepared a special program for three-week training and industrial practice. According to the plan, university students get acquainted with the China University of Petroleum, its laboratories, training centers and museums. During the internship, they will visit the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and its production facilities, the China Museum of Geology, the China Science and Technology Museum, and the Great Wall of China. The students will also take short courses on "Basic Chinese Language," "Chinese Culture," "Green Energy, Reducing Carbon Emissions," "The Future of Oil and Gas," and "The Future of Energy Cooperation on the Silk Road."

Educational and industrial experience at the China University of Petroleum is of great importance for students, helping them to enrich their theoretical knowledge with foreign experience.

Also in June-July of this year, the second group of university students was sent to the production facilities of the International Ltd branch of the China National Petroleum Corporation in Turkmenistan to undergo summer industrial practice in our country.
