10th edition of the Children of the Commonwealth international cultural and educational forum was held in Minsk

On July 13, 2025, the 10th edition of the Children of the Commonwealth international cultural and educational forum was held in the National Children's Educational and Health Center "Zubrenok", in which a delegation from Turkmenistan took part.

The organizers of the event were the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS and the Council of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS countries.

The director of the National Children's Educational and Health Center Tatyana Vitalyevna Osmolovskaya, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus N.Shaguliyev, employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, as well as schoolchildren from Russia, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia took part in the event.

Ambassador N.Shaguliyev spoke about the cultural values of Turkmenistan and the country's international initiatives, stressing that the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Declaration of Permanent Neutrality to Turkmenistan. Ambassador noted the importance of educating young people in the spirit of friendship and respect for cultural diversity, expressing confidence that such initiatives contribute to strengthening cooperation between the countries of the Commonwealth.

During the event, the delegation from Turkmenistan presented the participants from the Commonwealth of Nations with information about the country's history, culture, traditions and peace-loving policy, and also demonstrated elements of the national heritage, including handicrafts, carpets, music and dance.

Also, a special photo exhibition and a video showing the rich historical and cultural heritage and achievements of Turkmenistan were organized within the framework of the forum.
