From the new academic year, higher education institutions of Turkmenistan will begin training in 13 new educational areas, the newspaper "Turkmenistan" reports. The innovations cover specialist, bachelor's and master's degree programs.

The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction will introduce a program of "Information Systems and Technologies" within the framework of the Master's program.

In addition, the State Financial Institute will open master's programs in "Banking and Finance", "Tax Management", "Accounting, Analysis and Audit". The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management will begin accepting undergraduate students in the following areas: "Economics and Data Analysis", "International Finance", "Economics and Statistics", "Finance and Credit".

Also, given the relevance of the topic of “green” energy and climate change, a new bachelor’s degree program will be opened at the State Energy Institute: “Energy-saving technologies and energy management”.

The new areas are aimed at training specialists who can meet modern challenges in the fields of transport, digital technologies, economics and sustainable development.
