Working visit of professors from Xi'an Shiyou University and Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University of the People's Republic of China to Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

Thanks to the wise domestic and foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, the respected Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the modern reforms he is implementing, projects of national and international significance, new humanitarian approaches oriented towards the long-term perspective of international cooperation, the honor and dignity of our Motherland, our courageous people are valued ever more highly in the world.

The oil and gas industry, one of the main sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, has reached a developed level based on international cooperation. In the country, products that meet international standards are manufactured based on innovative, low-waste, energy-saving technologies implemented in existing production facilities.

On October 18, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University in Xi'an, People's Republic of China, Xi'an Shiyou University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and the China Association for International Educational Exchange on the establishment of the "Lu Ban Workshop" in Turkmenistan.

Within the framework of the signed Memorandum, professors and teachers of Xi'an Shiyou University and Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University of the People's Republic of China visited our country on a working visit to establish “Lu Ban's workshop” at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and exchange experience as equal higher education institutions.

During the working visit, professors from the People's Republic of China will conduct a week-long internship to improve the qualifications of young university teachers on the implementation of new technologies in the field of computer science and applied geology.

It is of great importance to study the experience of foreign universities in training highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry.
