Turkmenistan Approves National Program for Alcohol Harm Prevention

On July 18, during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Turkmenistan approved the National Program for the Prevention of Alcohol Harm for 2025–2028, along with an Action Plan for its implementation.

To ensure the spiritual and physical well-being of the population, further improve public health, raise living standards, and increase life expectancy in the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a corresponding Resolution.

Ministries, sectoral departments, and the administrations of the provinces, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, were instructed to ensure the implementation of the Plan.
