Turkmenistan Launches Third Oil Loading Berth in Turkmenbashi

At the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 18 via digital system, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing for the commissioning of a new oil loading berth at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. The facility was put into operation as part of the country’s oil and gas sector modernization program.

Chairman of the State Concern “Türkmennebit” G. Agajanov participated in the opening ceremony via digital video link.

The new facility is fully ready for operation.

The newly commissioned berth has an annual loading capacity of 2,060,000 tons and an unloading capacity of 1,150,000 tons of oil and petroleum products.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the launch of the new berth would contribute to increasing the export volumes of hydrocarbon resources and ensuring their reliable delivery. Following the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony by honored elders, the loading of petroleum products onto a tanker from the new berth commenced.

Vice Premier B. Amanov, on behalf of oil and gas industry workers, expressed gratitude to the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, for creating favorable conditions for productive labor.
