Turkmenistan and Belgium Discuss Establishing High-Level Contacts

Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, held a series of meetings in Brussels with senior Belgian officials to discuss the possibility of establishing high-level contacts between the two countries.

The talks took place within the framework of official events dedicated to Belgium’s National Day, attended by members of the royal family, as well as leaders of the country’s parliament and government.

Palvanov held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prévot, Speaker of the Chamber of Representatives Peter De Roover, Head of the King’s Cabinet Vincent Houssiau, and the Prime Minister’s diplomatic advisor, Ambassador Thomas Lambert.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring prospects for organizing high-level contacts that could enhance cooperation between Turkmenistan and Belgium.
