Turkmenistan - Turkiye: discussion on prospects for developing cooperation in education

On June 23, a meeting took place in Ankara between Mr. Mekan Ishankuliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, and Mr. Abdulhadi Turus, the newly appointed President of the Turkish Republic's Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).
During the meeting, discussions focused on issues and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey in the fields of education, science, sports, and youth policy.
Particular attention was given to the outcomes of the visit by a delegation from the Turkish Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities to Turkmenistan, which occurred in April of the current year.
Furthermore, within the framework of the meeting, both sides discussed the organization of joint events in the Republic of Turkey dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality status.
